Nope, you didn't see that here. No such kit exists as far as I know. Never heard of it.

Just going from 200cc to 250cc would pretty much be a waste of time and money. I think the 200cc engine would really come alive if the compession was raised to 10.5 or 11 to 1, add to that better flow (carb and exaust) and a bit of advance on the cam, I'd guess you could push 20hp or more with a good tune. Once I get my TDM in tune, I plan on executing these mods on my Lifan. The good thing about it would be the minimum outlay for parts (locate a stock 30mm carb and an ebay pipe) and the machine work would only entail either machining the head or cylinder base (and figuring out how to degree the cam, if possible).
Compression is where the power comes from. I've seen a Honda Civic SOHC turning close to 140hp on a similar setup, that's up from a stock rating of 98hp. (that's with a stock cam that had been degreed, a slightly larger TB and a good exauhst... but he did swap pistons to get around 12.3:1 compression!.) |

Pretty sure no one makes a 250 kit for China bikes... There was or is a guy from the Phillipines that was fabricating parts but they were for the Lifan 200cc street bikes...
