Does anyone know of a gasket set that is a direct fitment?

Catastrophix, what do you think, as you own a Suzuki-based Qingqi as well?

I'm absolutely certain that the DR200 gaskets fits perfectly.
Cybertron still has warranty on his bike, so it's best he doesn't do any "wrenchin", but leave that for the dealer to fix.

That is very good information to know, Catastrophix (the gaskets fitting). I just wonder what caused his bike's failure in the first place?

On a picture he posted in a Swedish forum, it seems like the crank vent hose is pinched. Perhaps that was enough to make the gasket blow? (if it did)
I hope he reports what actually happened when he knows. Edit: Saw that he posted a link to the pic in an earlier post in this thread: http://forum.soe.se/attachment.php?a...7&d=1193756420

hello everyone, sorry for the delay, but I haven't been home i a few days
i havent talked to the repairshop yet but here is what I know. Regarding the gasket, it is just "glued" (no real gasket, it is some kind of sticky mass) but anyway, that was apparently clean and all good. However, after the repairman had cleaned the bike he couldn't see what was wrong at all, everything looked perfect, he opened the cylinder and changed the sticky mass (gasket) and checked compression (all good) But the bike wouldn't start! For the moment I don't know anything more, but at the beginning of next week I probably will. have a great weekend.

ok, now I've got more information.
Well the bike is dead, and will remain dead! The piston, cylinder, cam is broken two engine mounts where had broken in two. THis probably led to the basegasket not holding tight and therefore all oil came out of instead of into the cylinder. So the reseller gave me a choice, money back (minus 30% for the time I have ridden and so on) or a new bike. I have chosen money back. I will probably buy a Suzuki DRZ 400SM instead! it was fun riding, and I have learnt alot. I will probably be hanging aroound a while longer!

I would have chosen the new bike, but the Suzuki will be good, too, if you have the money to get one!!

Fastguy, Frostbite lives in Canada. While close, they don't get all the bikes we (in the US) get, and they get ones we don't get in the US. That Zongshen is a very nice ride, but the Qingqi has several differences. It is available in the US rebadged as a Qlink XF200 www.qlinkmotor.com

Tell Anthony I said "hi" He told me today that I was approved for one, so I better call him to make sure he doesn't give "my" bike to you, LOL. I am after an orange colored one, so if you get the last one, I will have to hunt you down !!
All kidding aside, I will hunt you!! Alright, really. Are you planning to get yours tomorrow? In theory, I should be ready by next Saturday, as the loan papers need to be sent to me, but I could get it the Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving, or the Friday right after Thanksgiving. We could arrange to pick ours up on the same day, and take lots of pictures and all that other corny stuff .
