In theory I have 2.1 gallons. I am going to go out this morning and do a hiway run to see how far and how much. I'll post it up later today.

I just checked out Clarke tanks. What I can do is ride up there and see if they have one that will work for my bike (he is about an hour away) and then we can have a real answer as to what will fit.

Thanks Scott!! Of course ANY excuse for a ride is a good one! Fuel does seem to be the limiting factor with the bikes. By my rough calculations Scott would only have to stop for fuel 27 times if he rode out to visit me in KY.

And when I do a SaddleSore on it I will only need to stop about 18 times. That is so sick.....

Here is the email I just got back from him:
I guess it is possible but I am pretty sure we will not have anything to fit it.. I am not very familiar with this bike. I have only seen pics.. We are here from 7am to 3pm. We have no retail space and very low inventory right now because of the end of the year. I do not know if we will have anything to try on there.. Call ahead to let us know what you are doing ************ Not real encouraging, but I'll buzz him later

OK, found a site talking about a two day mississippi hill country loop you can get from Sam. This is sounding good!

Here is what they are planning over at Thumpertalk. Lots of information about the TAT, how to read the roll chart, etc..

Yeah, I wondered about that, your post wasn't there, I posted then both were up! What do you think about the two day loop? I think it would be great.

I'll order the MS and Ark maps this weekend just to take a look. I'm definitely interestedd if we can get all the details worked out. One of the threads on ADVrider was saying that a lot of the roads in TN have been paved over and you don't hit a lot of dirt till you are west of I-24. It would be about an 8 hour run for me to get to the MS border but it would be worth it.
