Ongoing questions about Lifan 150GY-3a Enduro *Newbie*

Hey China riders folk! Just bought my first enduro. Its a used (quite used) 150GY bike. The speedometer and RPM gauge don't work but the electronic gear thing that shows me what gear I am in works well. I got it for 500 bucks so I can't complain.

First questions:

When I shift into first, it "kicks" as I let off the clutch and when shifting through the gears, sometimes it doesn't catch right away. Maybe a driver error? . I know it is just gripping the gear but is this usually a sign that the gear teeth are wearing out? I want to be preemptive about these issues so I can minimize time without the bike and do it myself.

Thanks kind people from a broke college student!

I'd first lubricate and adjust the clutch cable, in that order.

Do you know where I could get just the rim for one of these bikes? The front tire is pretty bent but rideable?

Bent as in the rim has damage or bent as in like its wobbly? What I am getting at is if the rim is not damaged like impact damage then it likely just needs to be trued/straightened. This is a pretty easy process after you watch several YouTube instructional videos. Watch the videos to make your own truing stand as well. No need to purchase one. However they are available at Harbor Freight if you feel you need one.

Yeah, it is bent as in impact damage. The local shop said I just need to buy a new rim and they can put the spokes in and the tire it has now for 100 bucks. Will this tire work? http://www.ebay.com/itm/05-ROKETA-20...bdcfc1&vxp=mtr

On the side of the bike it says that the tire size is 2.75 x 21. I am not sure what size rim to buy

That wheel would work on my Zongshen ZS200GY-2. However, that wheel will not work on many Lifan motorcycles. Look at your current front wheel. Are your hub, brake rotor, et cetera, identical to the parts of the wheel shown on the eBay auction?
