street tires for a gy 200
Hi guys,
I know this is on the sight somewhere but I just cant find it. Can someone tell me what street tires I can put on my Roketa RSM200E. The ones on there now are Front = 2.75-21/200 Rear = 4.10-18/225 The more I look at the tire conversion charts I can find on the web the more confused I get. Thanks Randy  |

Parts Sticky (main page) --First page under *Tires*---.
I don't know about sizes. I went to my local bike shop and got Kenda Challenger tires. Way more expensive but I can only shop at brick morter stores. I do like street tires for street though. |

Outstanding thank you so much NTR.
My dual sport tires that came on my bike are really scary on wet blacktop. My plan is to make my bike into a motard and save up for one of the pure dirt versions of the china 200. Have you checked those out? Way more aluminum and a better suspension system from what I can see. I want my brother to get a china dirt bike too. But he is being closed minded and can't believe his own eyes. He sees mine with 1050 miles but still thinks there is some hidden catch because of the price. HMM maybe I should buy one and stick Yamaha stickers on it then sell it to him for 4 grand just so he will feel better. |

I have been satisfied with the on/off road performance of the Cheng Shin tires that came stock on my Lifan, but I can see the rear is going to be gone by the time I hit 2000 miles. Anyone know of a good dual sport tire that wears a little better than that?

I am in about the same position. Looks like I will get about 2500 miles from the Cheng Shin.
They make dual sport tires based on your type of riding. 90% street 80% street, 50/50(stock Cheng Shins) or you can go agressive like the kenda trakmaster which I think is 20/80% dirt. Lots of tires here. I copied the link from the maxxis thread. They look like a good replacement. http://www.americanmototire.com/inde...rget=d226.html If you want more miles than usually need a more street biased tire. I already have a trakmaster I salvaged from another bike that I will put on.

Talking dual sport tires here. I think that unless you go full street you will be lucky to get 3K miles out of a rear. My front is showing hardly any wear yet. Allen
