Just bought a POR Apache 125, looking for info

Hi There,
just bought a P.O.R Apache 125
(here's a pic from the seller, I took it apart as soon I got it home so haven't got any of my own yet)

So my question is if there is an equivalent bike I'd be able to look at for getting parts? (I bought a kinroad explorer clutch cable, but it was a tad too short)
Also Google images shows a different engine? Mine is labelled zennco instead of por?

Any clues as to what I've bought?

Cheers

Welcome!

Don't become too concerned with names on China bikes, as long as you can determine what the engine is based on. I can't tell for sure from the pic, but it appears that your engine is based on the trusty Honda CG125.

Your bike was known as Roketa and Shineray in NA. A clutch cable from a Honda XR200 would likely be a good fit, but a pic of your clutch linkage would help us to be sure.

Thanks for the reply,
the engine is the same on the one pictured here
http://zennco-yb125.weebly.com/gallery.html

though that doesn't show the link arm, but from my other post looks like the cable wasn't at fault anyway, so if my new one turns out unsuitable I could always go back to the first

Will get some pics of my own up tonight

Heh, well this is certainly the tallest bike I've ever had
My current bike is on the right and you can see the difference!
Before that I had a Yamaha FZ 400 and before that a virago 400, but I've settled on small displacement bikes as I only have a small commute, so hopefully I won't end up collecting all sorts of them (that said I vaguely remember promising not to fill my garage with motorbikes when we moved in )

excuse the mess...

Cheers, but this is my good bike all the bits are there and I'm using it as my daily work horse to work and back.

That said I'm currently in the process of selling it, £600 + the shipping to Canada and it's yours! lol

:P Thanks! I don't hear that alot...
Although I am assuming you mean funny in the head, considering I just sold an ultra reliable yamaha commuter for an 8 year old chinese off roader, I think I would have to agree!

Had my first run on the POR today though and was very impressed, the beat up panels were a little rattly so that'll be the next job!

Hey! A fellow POR apache owner! Let me know if you need any bits, I've stripped an awful lot off mine that will never make its way back onto my bike!
