she s not looking bad at all, mate! good work!

the carbie looks like a keihin copy but i may be wrong. what sort and size of main jet do you have?
does an oil breather fit below the carbie and the crankcase venthole? that would look neat.

Don't know what size the standard jets are, I've just adjusted the idle fuel mixture and it seems to be running fine for short trips are my area.

I've got a small filter that I'll try and fit up for the crankcase breather soon

Your bike looks great! I especially like the dashboard.

You might find the valve lash information you seek in the following thread.

Thanks for the confirmation, HB. I found SL230 stuff on Taobao, and I presumed it is the same motor.

That is a sweet looking little bike. If you're looking for more power, there's some hiding in that catalytic converter. Removing it would require larger jets.

Weld, my idea is to make a stainless steel header pipe and buy one of those ebay carbs so jets are easier to come by.

stellio, i ve looked it up for my 233 engine before:

OHC motor, no pushrods.
According to Honda dealer in Japan http://www.ride-inc.net/file/32/data.pdf
MD33 (65.5mm x 66.2 mm) IN/EX = 0.1mm (0.004 inches)

small problem was that the flywheel didn t have a TDC marking on it. maybe yours does have one. of course one can judge from the piston. but i eventually took the left case off, and made a marking for TDC on the flywheel.
