Head Scratching no low beam head light

hi kman here anybody ever had any trouble with head lights mine will work on high beam but no low beam any ideas thanks kman

What about the socket? Sometimes the fins that contact bulb "nipples" get bent and do not make good contact.

If you're not getting current to the socket, it must be the handlebar switch.

These bikes tend to have very cheezy connectors and sockets. I'd start there.

Did you check the impedence of the bulb to verify it was good or just a visual?

These bikes vibrate a lot and filaments don't last. They tend to fail at the end, not in the middle so it may be hard to tell by just looking.

I suspect your headlight employs the notorious BA20D bulb. If so, it won't be easy to find that bulb. Your best bet is to try looking at scooter dealers.

You can certainly get brighter light, and more easily find replacement bulbs, if you convert your headlight to an H4 bulb.
