Fixed..will connect speedsensor this evening.
Will later shorten the bike 2dm or so at back. |

After a 26hour shift on work and vacation i finally got to wire the rest and mount sensor.
Sensor i just cut some plastic and drilled 2 holes and then some glue on it. Gearing was wrong since before, N light had no wire so i had to install new one. Everything works now, gonna see if oil temp sensor is expensive. Also want a fuel sensor in tank so i know when i need gas. Also changed the gauge ones more, im never really satisfied. |

Next is to make a wind shield that fits nice in front of gauge and down to lights.

Nice job! Do you still have a main switch and placed it somewhere else?
I ask because i got almost the same job to do. New instruments, you know... . My main switch might be in the way. |

It tried running upwars in soft sand today..it just worked its way forward until top.
Front tire was awesome, its just ran above sand so steering was no problem. Gotta do that again!! Also use very little air in frontire, makes riding on asfalt alot nicer. |

I just discovered pictures from the TMS Offroad50 in stock condition. Man, you did a great job. Your bike looks much better than stock, amazing difference.
You told us that you changed the 50cc engine to a 250cc. Did you need to change the frame mounting adapters also? And where did you get the 250cc engine from? |

i bought it stock but with an atv engine on it that was running terrible.
it fits right upon ram, same holes so i guess its some chinese atv. i worked on it for some time yes, about 1 month some hour here and there. i checked everything many times and replaced bolts and such also to be safe riding. mine: stock: |

What a difference in appearance these fat knobby tires make. Seems like a completely different bike. Did i understand right, the bike had an ATV engine with 50cc? And with a reverse gear? Crazy idea. Or was it already a 250cc ATV engine? |

those tires are not fun on asfalt first!
but in wood and sand and such its very fun. it first had an 4stroke 50cc. but it brooke, they all did before cuz of some shift gear axle made with wrong metal. so an 250 167fmm pushrod was mounted and fitted into same holes. its actually 230cc on paper, runs very smooth and no problems at all. changed cdi to one from baotian that had manual setting on timing advance. took me about 1 week to find why it was dying at full throttle. replaced and mixed stators, pickup, cdi and checked all wiring and carb. had 20 pappers printed on chinese electric system and wiring.. but problem was that main jet were to big sprocket was difficult, had to find something lookalike and lathe centrum and drill it. went from 52 to 36 back. rpm 5000 at 80km/h i think. guess it makes 120 max..tires take alot of power no reverse i think but not sure, do they have electric security or something ? |

Ah, i think i fixed my misunderstanding. The 167fmm engines exist in at least two different versions, first with 5-speed gearbox for bikes, and second with 4-speed plus reverse for ATVs. To complete our confusion the chinese didn't change the engine codes.
My Skyteam Cobra with vertical cylinder (might be the same engine as your stock 50cc) is named 139FMA-2. The same code is used for chinese copies of Honda Dax or Monkey with a horizontal cylinder. But nice to know that the 230cc engine dropped right in. |
