Okay. Click the following link to download the Zongshen 200GY-2 Service Manual.
http://www.chinariders.net/transfer/...ice_Manual.pdf Page 132 of the service manual contains the wiring diagram for the CDI-ZS067-001, AC-CDI unit. The green/white and blue/yellow wires come from the pickup coil/pulse generator, and should connect to the wiring harness in a small boot near the carburetor. You can test the connections there, or you can locate the green/white and blue/yellow wires at the connector which plugs into the CDI unit. Set your digital multimeter to read AC voltage. Place one probe on each of the two wires, it doesn't matter which one. With the transmission in neutral, crank the engine, and see if you get pulses of AC voltage coming from the pickup coil/pulse generator. If you do, you have confirmed your bike employs an AC-CDI unit. All of the AC-CDI units cost about 100 Yuan, after you add local shipping. Here are links to a few of the CDI-ZS067-001, AC-CDI units. http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...id=18041577178 http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...id=20011311269 http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...&id=6110384132 http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...&id=6320155790 Here is the same, AC-CDI unit, which is being sold on Alibaba. http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/28..._LY200_AC.html Spud

If your testing proves you have an AC-CDI unit, I suggest you buy the CDI units from Taobao, using TBTrends as an agent. I contacted Alibaba, and they are charging $60 per unit, delivered. 8O You can get these CDI units for about half that price if you buy them from Taobao.

The following CDI unit is priced at 88 Yuan, with a domestic shipping charge of 10 Yuan, equaling a final price of 98 Yuan. At the current exchange rate, 98 Yuan is equal to $15.95 in U.S. dollars (USD).
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...id=18041577178 Sign up for an account at TBTrends. http://www.tbtrends.com/index.php The TBTrends agent will charge you a 10 percent fee for every item you order. He will order the CDI units, and any other items you wish to buy, and have them delivered to his office. Then he will place all the items you purchased in one package, and quote you a shipping charge from China. You will be charged approximately $23.60 in shipping for the first 500 grams (1.1 pounds) sent from China. However, you will only be charged approximately $7.38 in shipping for each additional 500 grams (1.1 pounds) shipped from China. I think 2 CDI units will probably weigh less than 500 grams. Therefore, you could buy 2 CDI units for approximately $60, delivered. If you decide to order other items from Taobao, your shipping charges would be spread out and reduced for each additional item. Go to Taobao.com and use the search term "zs250gs" to see what other items you might wish to purchase. http://s.taobao.com/search?q=zs250gs...itemz_20130508 If you need some cables, plastic, sprockets, brake pads, levers, tool kit, et cetera, you will get very good prices. These items don't weigh much, and won't cost much in additional shipping charges. Also, these small, robust items are not easily damaged in shipping. Even if you decide only to purchase 2 CDI units, you will still get them for half the price charged by either Alibaba or eBay. Spud

Also, the link for the CDI unit I provided shows this part is an official, Zongshen part. Humanbeing has warned us of many copycat parts manufactured in China, and recommends we search for official Zongshen parts whenever possible. http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...id=18041577178 Spud

Here's another tip, Kid. At $16 apiece, I strong suggest you purchase at least three of these CDI units, perhaps a few more. Even the HCE units will fail. I average around 12,000 miles before one of my HCE CDI units fails. :(
However, a major contributing factor to the failure rate of my CDI units is vibration. Riding off road subjects a dual sport motorcycle to punishing vibration which can accelerate the wear of many parts, especially electronic parts such as CDI units. Fortunately, your ZS250GS is a street bike, so your HCE CDI units might last longer than mine. Spud
