selling the bike
looks like i'll be selling the china bike this weekend. i'll make sure to tell the new owner about the site. depending on how my cash situation is in the future i might buy another. for now i'm moving on to something bigger. possibly a dr350 or a klr.
Bruce i'll also be giving the guy all your contact info so he can order parts as he breaks them.

Everyone has to move up sooner or later, I plan on making the jump also. If the old Bike is still putting along I'll probably keep her. Good luck with the new Bike...Should be a blast.

Anyway, have fun on the 350 and learn with it. It IS a more road capable size. I wouldn't go NEAR a freeway in a major city with a 200. The 350 is just big enough, though I really prefer my SV for such duty. |

strange i was looking at a dr350.. the only thing is that it is kickstart only.. i didn't really like that idea...
i'm not selling the chinabike tho. I plan on keeping it for my g/f to ride when we go to the ocean or around town. That was she has something small and easy to manage.

I agree with tz on the size if you want to do alot of off-road. I am fine with a 200 off-road, but it is lacking on the road. 300-400cc covers both ok.

I'm curious how much money you're getting for it? I wouldn't think I would get much for mine; in other words it's worth more to me than the money I would get for it.

I am sure that I will end up riding mine to its death and then part it out. If I get allowed another bike this one will be the loaner/backup bike.

well it's sold. i sold it monday. tuesday night i picked up a 1999 Suzuki DR 350. it's a pretty fun little bike. wheelies in first gear like it's nothing. the power on the street is much nicer and the suspension off road is great. right now i have no air filter on it cause the old one fell apart but as soonas i get one i'll post some dirty pics of it. here's some new pics for now.
oh yeah, i told the new owner about the site so keep an eye out for him. his name is Jason and he's a nice guy. we'll be ridding soon.
