Can some help identify this quad?

I received this quad as payment for firewood. Its wiring was trashed but has a fresh battery. It has a Zongshen engine with 167FML stamped on the left side bottom case. It has reverse, manual trans, & electric start. I can't find any information on how to wire this thing back up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I'll try and post some pics..

the funky missle like things on the front make me think it is a model of a Tao Tao.

Do a google image search on Tao Tao atv and add 200cc and I bet you will find it.

The biggest thing about this quad is the lack of wiring. It's a pain in the butt finding any info on it.

We should be able to find a basic wiring diagram for the engine.

This is for lifan engines, but it should work. Wiring is pretty much the same. Your engine is of the vertical variety.

Your colors may not match exactly.

My quad is very similar, and that's my favourite motor; it's a pushrod engine, and it's based on the venerable CG125.

Do you have specific questions about the harness? I might be able to answer questions if you break it down for me.

Thanks for the link.
I've searched & searched the web for diagrams. There are many out there. I really don't want to take anything a part to trace wires. If I could just get it to start, Run, and charge it would be perfect. I can wire the lights and indicaters after that.
I found a little solder work in the left handlebar switch assembly. This quad has hi/lo light, fan, kill, and start switch. Im looking to replace that asssembly.
It did start and run, but there were problems. It woould blow the in-line fuse and wires became very hot. I knew that this thing needed rewired. I beleive there was a 12v wire going to a ground wire causing that. It was a mess of splices and cold-solders..
I'm in for a project.. It will test my skills, fo sho!
I'll post more pics of my mess...

At least all of the major components are connected. Jim once bought a quad like yours, and the PO had unplugged every connector. Since the wires changed colour at the connectors, it was a complete mystery. We ended up tearing my quad apart for comparison, since it was made in the same month at the same factory.

Since this quad is new to you, I'll share with you that the left handlebar control is actually a street bike signal light switch. As such, if you slide the red button left or right to kill the engine, you must then push it in once (you'll feel a slight click) so that it will start again. Many of us have been fooled by that.

as to the wires that come OUT of the motor on the left side, if you remove the chain cover you will see it is 2 different groups of wires. One group is for the stator (altenator for motorcycle engine) and the second group is for your reverse and nuetral indicator. I found too many issues on my reverse and nuetral indicator lights on the 2 quads I had with that same motor (239cc though). Since then 1 has died and has been made a parts machine for the other one and the other one (known as BLUE) no longer has those indicator lights installed and all my power/ charge issues are gone.

I just did some research and due to the steel (now rusted) forward foot guards, motor size, red missle thingies near shocks it looks like your model is a Coolster 3200B
here is a link to a page where you can find parts for it:

http://www.powersportsmax.com/index_...hp/tID/1/bID/2

here is the companies page with parts break down and you may even be able to order new front plastics for it too:

TCCKSR, thank you for the info. I did realize the kill switch thing; its got that release=to open. I have found some other switch housings i can swap out the switches with( I found crapping solders and cut wires in the one i have). I'm pretty much down to wires now. i'm basiclly rewiring this as i see fit.
The model info is great, just to get answers. awsome thanks again.
To the moderator:
*I'm pretty sure its not a "push-rod" engine..... there is a cam chain tensioner or the rear of the engine...Thanks for the info though*

as far as the wires from engine cases; the wires pictured are just from the engine, not the trans. i had those wires out of the way because i knew they were just trans ground wires. what are the ones pictured???
I really dont want to remove stuff and trace wires...
