All I mean is that I used large stainless fender washers on the front side of the plate. The back is well-supported by the plate frame. This way, the perimeter of the fender washers is well beyond the slotted holes that are provided on the plate.

Funny update to this story. As some of you know, I sold the Qlink a few months ago and bought a Yamaha WR250x. The Yamaha is worth every penny, I freaking love that bike. But anyway...
I got a call last night from the local tag place: We have the tag you ordered, come pick it up. I was like, uhhhhhh, what tag? They got a license plate that was issued for my motorcycle. My motorcycle already has a plate... ? It is for a Jinan something or other. Uhhhh.... I sold that bike months ago. Oh, I see the tag was issued on July 24th. Yeah, today is December 10th... Hmm, must have got mixed up in transit somewhere. We'll go ahead and send it back to Harrisburg and let them know. So almost 5 months later, the replacement plate finally shows up. I wonder whose desk it has been sitting on for all that time. Thanks PennDOT!

We need pics of the bobbers. You can't mention stuff like that without pictures.
Feel free to start a new thread. We have an other stuff forum for anything not Chinese.
