I love how we Chinariders can spot stuff in the background! A trend perfected by Weld.

Imagine a CR doing an inkblot test! I hope the psychiatrist has a lot of room to take notes...

Ohh I know it will only go as fast as I let it its just that I get a bit crazy at first.

I should be fine but I think back to when I got on my wifes raptor 350 and after five minutes I gave it back to her, I couldnt stay off the throttle.

The trails I want to go to have a long flat open road so i'll be OK I think.

Its a sears suburban with a onan opposed twin 18hp.

Its not mint the footrests are a little bent and the PO drilled two holes in the hood and there is some overspray paint on it but the rest is pretty decent.
I keep it in the garage(taking up space) because it is fairly nice and I want to keep it that way.

There is a snow plow onCraigslist right now for it but I dont really need it since I have a dozer blade but the plow folds down went it hits something hard unlike the dozer blade.

I just sold my chinabike a little while ago and the chinablaster is up for sale as well I need to space around here badly.

Yup, same boat... It's amazing how quickly a garage can fill up!

I have a newer snow blade coming. It will be adapted to fit mine.

My sears is far from mint. No hood, lights, original engine smoked bad.

Those old sears tractors are like tanks I have another sears suburban 16/6 that could run but needs pretty much the complete ignition system but I have been thinking of installing the new 11hp electric start engine I have in it just to be able to run it.

I got my raptors front wheels set much better it had serious toe out which is a bad thing but now it has a 1/4" toe in which I may adjust a bit more after running it a little.

I need to make a storage box on it so we can have our tire repair kit with us but space is very limited.I did buy tank saddle bags for it so we have some storage.

Yamaha likes their single cylinder designs compared to all the other big boys that are going to dual piston designs for more umph.

But the Yamaha's still perform well up there with the 800-850 range dual cylinder machines. In the long run a good single cylinder design will out last a dual cylinder design and has more bottom end grunt I find.

That Raptor is sweet, I almost bought an 05 -660 for my son as a guy was willing to do a partial computer and some cash deal buy decided against it in the long run so I could find a 4x4 unit so he can play in the mud with me. The Raptors as soon as they get in any type of deeper mud just don't cut it but that is not what you probably want to do so that is okay. That is just what we ride being where we live.

Mud is OK to play in but not my favorite thing to do on a quad, I like riding the dirt rollercoasters (twisty, bermed trails)the most then a little hill climbing and always looking for excellent scenery.

I have to find the fuel leak and I'm almost sectain its the outlet on the fuel petcock since it pulled out instead of the fuel hose coming off it.

I need to get those cross reference files for motorcycles/ATV's so I can easily see what fits what.

I'd like to go fuel injected on it but the cost would ba almost the same as a 700 raptor.

I had a 700 raptor cyclider/piston etc lined up for the XT660..
but found out to make the raptor cyclider fit you have to bore
the 660 engine cases 2mm to fit the raptor sleeve..
its been done... I diddn't really want to strip the 660 motor
to bore the case mouth for the raptor sleeve...

So 660cc it can stay....
