CDI Box

I got this CDI from a fellow member and would like to try to use it. The plugs however are different and I really don't want to mess anything up. I was thinking I could just jump the wires like in the following picture from the good CDI to my wiring harness. Good or bad idea? The smaller one is from a 300 TRX. Any electrical engineers out there?

Thanks WA. I'll have to check my wiring harness when I get home. It appears according to the pictures the Green wire and Green w/white stripe are swapped and the Blue and Black are swapped. The two other Black ones seem to go on the same posts.

This link helped too: http://www.chinariders.net/modules.p...r=asc&start=45

Thanks again WA

I have the owners manual somewhere, I assume it would be in there?

The only difference I could find comparing the listed pictures in the thread and mine is there are two green wires, but couldn't find a white line on either one  I'll have to look again.

Good news/Bad news:

Good: Found my manual, it was in a plastic bag in the "tool holder/fake muffler"

Bad: Apparently it got wet at some point and is rolled into a semi-circle and hard as a rock 8O

I did double check this morning about my wiring and and I have (2) green wires neither with a white stripe

Ok what co,lor wires come out of your motor and do they stay the same color as they plug in to the harness? or do some change as they go through the plug?

Back from the dead I ordered a new CDI and Coil while I was at it and finally had a few minutes to mess with the bike last night. With the new CDI and Coil still no spark
