Chain Slider on Beast

Anyone made a chain slider for the rear swing arm on the beast?

I have a slight rub of the chain on the rear swing arm and I know I have read on here that others have as well. Just wondering if anyone has made a slider and if they have suggestions and or pics of it.

I bought a Yamaha chain slider that will require some minor welding to the swingarm, but I haven't gotten around to it. I don't know the original application of the slider; it was simply in a box fullof sliders at the local Yamaha dealer. It has mounting tabs on the sides that will not be contacted by the chain, and that makes it a good choice.

Saw this one for an ATC350X Swing Arm, but at 56 bucks its a little steep but looks like it would be just the ticket.

You could mill something like that out of UHMW. If you have a router table, you could set up the fence and some stops to create a crude version. I recommend that you don't try to shave more than 1/8" at a time with a router.
