Sorry about that.

I feel rude Im asking all these questions and never introduced myself.

My names dillon. Im from central pa im an auto technican. New to dual sporting and motorcycles in general. A buddy of mine let me ride his suzuki dr650 when I was in the market for a bike and fell inlove with the upright position of the dirt bike style setup so I got a really good deal on a metal motorsports 250 with off rode title. I currently am trying to covert it to street legal I will post a thread about it if anyone is interested. Thanks for all your help guys. I tried another forum and they were not as open minded about chinabikes. I feel much better and more at home here as I really want to get into the sport but short on cash and cant afford a jap bike.

Welcome!

You're not going to find anyone flaming you for choosing a China bike around here. We all recognize the value, assuming the price is right.

As I stated in your other post I also live in central PA. Yes this site will become a very valuable tool to you in china bike ownership. I have not had much luck finding a shop that is to willing to work on china bikes in the area but if you come across any maybe you could let the rest of us know. I honestly stopped lookin & do all the work that has been done to my bike myself. Since you are an auto tech I'm sure you won"t have much of a problem takin care of your own bike.

makin it legal

I also live in central PA,, you are going to have a very hard time if the mso or title says"" off-road'' but maybe the dmv nazis in harrisburg ,pa wont notice ..I had to jump thru ALOT of hoops to get my pitster pro 400 legal. On a side note theres a shop about a half mile outside duncannon that specialize in working on the chinese stuff ,its called hirt motosport,,they advertise on craigslist/hbg. I had some stuff done there they seem fair..Where d you get the bike that seems like a great price ,i might go for one myself.

My goodness! 8O Rush over there and get one of those bikes, Fish! How can you beat a deal of $760, OTD, for a 250cc dirt bike?
