Annoying turn signal beep.

Ok, I got the rear brake sorted out, we'll see what happens, I got it to idle and the fuel mix right.

But how does one disable that annoying beep when the turn signals are activated?

Vince

replace the flasher, or tape over the sound port on the stock flasher.

Standard 2 prong flasher at Auto Zone about 3 bucks and change, plugs right in, no beep.

A flasher that plays Elvis Presly's "Love Me Tender"...

The redneck way: 2 cotton balls and a couple wraps of electrical tape. The beeper on mine was right under the seat in the center of the bike. Don't put your ear over it and then flip on the blinkers...causes deafness for a couple hours!

Love the ad for the "Love Me Tender" flasher..."Avoid the embarrassment of leaving your turn signal on"...as if sitting at a stoplight with Love Me Tender beeping out of your bike wouldn't be an embarrassment!

The winker beep is most definitely annoying.
I think I will try to find a flasher replacement as well.

You can thank Honda for the beeping flasher. Back in the 70s before Yamaha came out with the self cancelling turn signal on the RD400 in 76, it was the rage to remind you to turn off the turn signal. I'm pretty forgetful about that, myself. A lot of these little China bikes seem to take ques from 70s Hondas, even PARTS!

Speaking of horrible movies...."right turn, Clyde."

OH, that would be great to have Clint's voice announcing your left turn...does the orangutan come with it?

(OK, I really didn't have much to say, but I wanted 400 posts!!!)
