air filter questions (real quick)
can anyone tell me what size air filter i need? i have a 2009 lifan gy 200. will a high performance air filter help me go faster, or would it suck too much air?

If it is a gy-5 lifan it will be a 44 mm air filter and the only oil filter is a wire screen on the plug. Just change the oil often.
The air filter will probably require you to change the jet in the carb to a larger one, most here have used a 110 or 115 sized jet. |

I usually get them from the local motorcycle shop for around $5 each. Just bring the jets in, not the whole carb.
