Also....maybe that's why mine does better on the 127.5 now. I have the FMF TC2. It breathes VERY freely. I got a flat spot out of the 125 at higher R's once I installed it. Can you run a louder unit in your races????? It's light, easy to mount and cheap......

Ebay seller "Partsdepot" for the cam
Today was the first test ride with the Protapers installed with the new bar height and bend it has made the bike feel a lot more stable and comfortable to ride. Closing in on 9000kms on the Q and no problems with the engine at all, frequent oil/filter changes with 20W-50 4stroke oil and checking the valves is the key. Also talking with Racetech about some "gold valve emmulators" and possible different front/rear spring rates to improve the suspension woes

Well yesterday the Xf started running very rough and didn't want to go above 50mph, at first I thought it was the dreaded weak battery symptom that these bikes suffer from. So after charging the battery over night I took a test drive and the bike still had the same problem so out came the multi-meter and I found a few items: first the 2 grounds are very bad and needed the paint removed from the frame and also the hidden culprit was that the positive battery connection had worked/vibrated itself loose. So after all of this and a quick cleaning of the carburetor the bike came back to life, so a word the the wise: check your grounds and electrical connections.

I get 100kph indicated with a pushrod 150 and a 135lb rider. im at sealevel with a oversized airfilter and perfectly dialed carb. it could use another tooth on front sprocket even[/i]

That's great, trevort! Good to hear it was something simple!
I was still grappling with the Stage 1 cam change until I just spent the last 2 days on Q. (sorry...no pics or I'd post) I have the higher gearing as documented....but man...up over 2500' elevation....the little 200 just doesn't haul my 200 lb Italian Carcass as it should, even with the jetting and FMF TC2. She runs perfect otherwise. I'm going to try the cam.......and see....then I may drop one tooth back to stock on the countershaft and keep the little rear sprocket. With the current setup, my crawl-speed trail riding requires a lot of clutch. Other than minor fine tuning.....I LOVE this bike! I looked at it yesterday after 100 miles of Gold Country Twisties and muttered...."Are you sure you're not Japanese??????" 8O
