Hi strokerking1975
It's a horizontal Honda styled engine from 50cc-150cc. The NHTSA search below shows the manufacturer. The engine number by the shifter will tell us what size engine is in it. Pictures always help to. Most likely sold here by SSR. E-22 on the head means the camshaft runs on bearings instead of just the head itself as the older Honda horizontal engines did. E-22 should mean that the camshaft has 2 bearings on it {1 on each end of the cam}, E-21 heads sometimes only had 1 bearing on the camshaft. Yep the 10 digit means it's a 2005.

Thanks for that info, Bruce. I wasn't aware of the bearing arrangement difference.

Thank you Bruce,, and are these bikes worth putting money into,, the pocket rocket would need the motor and tranny replaced because my friends nephew was doing nuetral drop wheelies and it is now stuck in 2nd gear, and the dirt bike needs the whole throttle assembly, rear brake caliper, and pipe and muffler,, the bikes were free

Hi strokerking1975

Sorry about the late reply. Been checking forum just forgot to post here. Phone rings but most only want information, can't make a living off that so I've been working the service dept. as much as I can.

Anyway..... If you don't need both bikes, I'd decide on just 1 to put together. The engine work on the other one could get timely & expensive, if the transmission has issues.

You asked in another post about kick-start gears... these are inside the engine, the cases need to be split to get to them... they work off of the transmission.

I would think the dirt bike would be the better choice to get running, if the engine is OK. Throttles, cables brake parts I can get or can be found for sale on line. A few of the parts from these two bikes are interchangeable.
