Just dropping in to say hi.
Hello everyone, its been some time since I was last on here. I just wanted to say hi to all the old readers and also to all the new faces joining CR. I hope everyones bikes are doing well, I now have over 6700 miles on my GY5 and not a single mechanical problem, I replaced my old chain recently with a tsubaki 420H and couldnt be happier with it. The only minor encounters I had so far was a cracked headlight mount and tail light due to vibration which was quickly fixed with epoxy, other than that runs like a top. So I hope the rest of you crazy red star riders out there are having the same luck with your bikes as I am. Take care and ride safe.

It should be noted that Jet Tech rides an American Lifan vs. one of the grey market ones. I know, I know, there will be exceptions, but just wanted to point it out.
If you search out his posts, he rode his bike from Louisiana to Florida over two days; something like 1400 miles if I am not mistaken. Good to hear from you, Jet, and everything is going well.

I plan to have 6000km or 3700 miles plus by Labor Day. Now are we comparing miles or kilometers here. I am going for the mileage award.
If I get 15,000 I will be happy. Allen

I only have about 35 miles on mine. Still waiting for my new sprocket to come in before I start commuting on it. Looks like I will be getting my registration worked out.
