my bike is probably 230/240 pounds or so, it's a 200cc offroad bike
it's as easy to load as my 125cc pit bike (that weighs about 140 pounds) because i have done it so much |

You can always see if there is an area close by you can back your truck up to and bring your bike up and walk it on.a sturdy mound of sand thats not to steep.....otherwise a big sturdy fraggin piece of plywood for a ramp. ..I used a slip and slide and an axe pick.but that was dangerous and a long story

Gets some ramps and make sure you can load/unload it anywhere or else you might find yourself in a jam.
Its really not as hard as you might think and if you take your time when loading you should be fine. I think you'll find that getting it in and out of the truck is nothing compared to reaching for that tie down that fell and came unhooked from the truck bed loop all the while holding the bike from falling. This looks very handy for a one person easy load. BIKE SHOE MOTORCYCLE WHEEL CHOCK-EBAY LINK I'm still thinking of trying one in our trailer. I hope you never plan to go riding alone in the woods as it really is dangerous, anything can happen out there and a simple fall can be life threatening. (simple fall-broken leg-with bone ripping thru main artery-rapid loss of blood-no way to ride out on your own-and then theres the squitors and deer flys that are a real pain ) |

But things happen and if your alone then what are you gonna do.
Yeah my brain keeps me from doing a lot of things. (stupid brain-I'll stab you with a fork-OWW-DOH) I havnt gotten the Garmins like I wanted but we do ride with our cell phones but they are pretty much dead weight but we also have two way radios that we use to communicate and of course they also can be used to call for help just hope some one is close enough. OHH HEY those deer flys bite and it hurts but it might take the pain away from the jagged bone that ripped thru your leg. |

A ramp and an old milk crate, I use the crate to help me step into the bed while I walk the bike up the ramp.

Good riding safety tip T/C. I look at the sport with open eyes too. That's why I'm Elmer the safety elephant.

We're a bit spoiled now with a rear ramped enclosed trailer but the BIKE SHOE would make it even easier.

I use to just ride my 2 strokes up my 2x12, but I just walk my DRZ up the ramp nowadays.
