losing weight on a zong200 sierra
felt i had to lose some weight on my zong!
removed speedo cluster (500g) and bracket (750g), steering lock (500g) replaced headlight with baja headlight and instruments with trail tech vapor, indicators with LED, added on/off switches for engine and lights removed shock protectors (500g) removed luggage rack (1900g) replaced old taillight/bracket/indcators with LED (saved 550g) replaced handlebar with protaper medium ATV bars (saved 425g) removed plastic battery/airbox compartment (600g) replace battery with Li-ion type batt (saved 1400g) converted to single seater, remove rear pegs (didn t weigh them) remove kickstarter (300g) removed exhaust (heavy) replaced with racing muffler (light) kept aftermarket bashplate kept stock mirrors weight loss all up approx. 11kg a more nimble, faster bike... the zongLZX200G rocks, IMHO...happy trails to those who ride theirs!
