A nice KLX ride in the hills above Prosser, WA
I found some new trails .
I reconned them from the air :P . It was a 71 mile ride, most of it off pavement. Many of the usual trails I like are too dusty (6 plus inches of fine talc like dust in places) to enjoy so I went out looking for fresh harder packed country. The cell phone pics don't show it, just barely maybe, but Mt. Rainier and Mt. Adams were both clearly visible in the background of these shots. They are beautiful in their snow capped majesty rising above my local desert environment. I'm grateful to have been immune from the heat that has smothered much of the nation. Our highs lately have been in the upper 70's and low 80's, MUCH cooler than average. Indeed we set a record low 2-3 nights ago in the high 40's at night. Beautiful weather. 8) Included also is a pic of Miss Linda from our boat ride on the Snake River on Saturday. I don't know who put the cross up or how long ago but it was beautiful. Overlooking Prosser, in the heart of Washington Wine Country. There are about 20-30 wineries in the area of this photograph. Also seen is the Yakima River. MAYBE you can see Mt. Rainier in this pic. It was big bold and beautiful in real life, but the cellphone can't capture it well. The lovely Miss Linda on our little Sunset Cruise.

Thanks for the pics, Doc. One of these days I'm gonna remember to post pics of Mount Baker, which is equally stunning.
Warmest regards to Miss Linda.
