My weekend ride

this is a copy and paste from a post i made on T.T.

I had a pretty fun time this weekend. i've always wanted to take my bike on a camping trip and i got the chance this weekend. i loaded up the bike with my tent and sleeping bag etc and headed off to east bonita. i decided to take the train track service roads all the way out there since i figure it would feel like more of an adventure. once there i met up with a few friends and rode for hours, setup camp, hung out etc.

i then woke up this morning (after getting 5 hours of sleep) and packed all my stuff up and headed off to come home and nurse my hang over. once i got home Josh (forget his screen name on here) called me and wanted to go ride with thunder7 on here. so i met up with then and we rode out to the beach for some hooters wings. after that we headed over to a guy's work to check out his aprillia SM bike.

that's pretty much it, here's some pics. (clickable thumbs)

loaded up on the trail

did they make this just for me? i spent some time here trying to learn how to jump better. it didn't work out to good.

neat little crossing

the camp site

Mike and Jule's 4-wheeler's.

my tent and bike

how my tent was when i woke up this morning (thanks Mike)

Had a wedding to DJ and several more to come til June, that looks like alot more fun but gotta pay the bills, sucks having to work weekends... I wish there was a way to ride during the week but that doesn't seem probable as most work weekdays...We'll get together and throw down a ride and BBQ..

Looks like a fun ride & a great time! Thanks for sharing.

ThumperTalk is for thumpers, all the one-cyl bikes. I checked it out a few months ago, I think I was ignored rather than bashed But maybe that's personality, rather than bike! LOL I think it's like any forum, you just have to find your niche.

first is mine Roketa rsx-200e
2nd in my friend Josh's drz400e that he has half way dual sported
3rd is Danny's Aprilia SVX 550 8)
4th is Mike's DRZ400sm.

the Aprilia bike is just bad ass!!!!! i haven't rode with Danny yet as that was the first day i met him. i think we are going riding again this weekend.

Mike's DRZ400SM is just an awsome bike. it's an 06 with only 600 miles on it and it's getting sent off this week to get a 475 stroker motor put in it with new titanium exhaust and programed CDI unit and bigger carb etc. bike is just going to be sick.

Oh yeah, well they are all nice bikes, yours included, the main thing I see is the other ones seem to have bit beefier swing arm, but I dont think these ones should be a problem? Anyways nice bike, nice to see people getting some nice trips on these things... so far mine has been confined to pavement and our back yard... gotta go find some trails and mud in a few weeks.

Just about any type of motorcross, supermoto, dual sport, or anything of that nature. No, not many of those guys are big fans of Chinabikes. It does seem that the bashing isnt quite like it used to be. You should check it out though. It's got some good stuff.
