Bearing Problems

helppppp please....i just bought the gio, 125 rebel t2 quad, and i want to know, why it has chewed though 2 sets of bearings with in 4 hrs riding time, as well as the chain snapping, and cracks around the battery casing, dents in the plastics and the kill switch not being wired properly

overlooking everything, my main concern is that it is eating bearings, it is totally un-ridable at this point.......what am i to do with it, is there some fix for this problem?

any help would be GREATLY appreciated

:?: :?:

Well starting with a brand name replacement chain is pretty common around here, the stock chain is about as good as the engine oil that comes in the engine, both should be replaced as soon as possible.
As for the bearings, which ones are wearing out ?.

Welcome to the forums. Out of curiosity is it a new 125 t2, or used? As Wayne asked, which bearings are wearing out?

Welcome to the forum!

When you say bearings, do you mean the bearings that the axle rides on within the housing, or the bushings that the swingarm pivots on?

We'd need to start with photos. Please show us how the bearings are failing; I can't wrap my mind around that in such a low use machine.

I know that the Gio Beast 200 requires some prep to maintain good bearing life. We replace the bearings with sealed units, insert a grease fitting in the rear axle and fill the cavity with grease. That way, if the rear axle is submerged, it won't draw water in and destroy the bearings.

Sorry, I can't view those because I don't use Facebook. Jim has posted excellent information on posting photos here: http://www.chinariders.net/modules.p...wtopic&t=11188

I use Photobucket as a host.

Did you clean those, or did they have no grease in them? Where did you find replacements?
