Rear disc brake sticking on gy200

I have had this happen about 2 or 3 times now.
The rear brake binds on, the disc gets hot, and the brake binds on even harder. I end up fighting the rear brake to get the bike to move.

When its cooled down everything is ok again.

The bike is new, not been ridden much so the disc pads are fairly fresh, any ideas on what to do?
a) Wait for pads to wear, and problem will go away?
b) Something else?

cheers,
Keith

there is another thred on this issue , but here is how i fixed mine
i adjusted my rear brake lever to bring it up so it almost touches the engine case . this takes the presure off the master cyl. the factory seting was not allowing brakes to totally disengage building up heat and locking up rear brakes .releaving that presure fixed mine. others have used the adjustment on the master cyl. totally up to you i thought the brake lever was easier thats why i went that way. hope this helps.

many thanks,
you are absolutely correct. Master cylinder was adjusted incorrectly, and couldn't release the pressure on pads.

cheers!
Keith
