Pioneer Motors

This website may be useful for research. Look at the parts catalog and parts prices.

Did you see the MSRP's on those 200cc's? I could buy two more of what I already have!

We had just discussed the Pioneers on the thread (I think last week) from Cycletrader where a dealer had listed a used "Pioneer Zongshen" for something like $2995. Pioneers are not Zongshens, but probably do use their engines. A little pricey in my opinion.

i think that it looks closest to a rocketa, more than a zongshen....

i dunno tho, i havent had the opportunity to look at a rocketa up close. i agree tho that their prices are pretty crazy... considering its the same principal as a rocketa or lifan.....

I agree. There's a guy by the school that I go to that has one of those pioneer 200cc bikes parked in front of his apartment. At first I could have sworn it was a Roketa, but I rode up to it and it was a pioneer. I dont think that bike has moved from where its parked since I moved down here back in August. Maybe I could give him some of my "Ancient Chinese Wisdom of the Chinabike" to get him to go riding or something.

That's actually not a bad idea to see if he wants to sell it. All it does is just sit there. I guarantee if it is broke, I could get it back running sooner or later because all of the knowledgable people here. I could also run it up to Tom @ RPM and pay him to fix it. Then I could have 2 bikes. "Yessssssssth! Now that's what I'm talkin about.!" (name that movie)

Pioneer is the Pep boy's claim to fame, made for them and others, where else can you get a bike from an auto parts dealer and NO parts....
