Does anyone know about Marshin bikes?

I bought this 125cc pit bike yesterday, I couldn't pass it up. $400 bucks and it runs really strong. I weigh 185 and it pulls the front tire up in second and third gear. I looked up Marshin on the net, but can't find much. The only other bike I could compare it to (frame and swingarm wise) is the 125 Apollo, they're almost identical. It's a 2007 model by the way. Now I have something to play on till my son gets big enough for it, then I'll be getting a 2 stroke 250. The guy I got it from said it's Austrialian made.

That's it Phil, thanks for the link. It's a fast little bike, and alot of fun to ride. I've torn up most of my yard, going to have to find somewhere to ride it.

I've been practicing wheelies on it, so far I can keep it up all the way through second gear. Every once in a while it feels like the chain slips, I took a look at the front sprocket and it's fairly worn out. I'll be ordering a new one. Actually two, I'm going to order a 13 tooth (what's on it now) and a 14 tooth just to experiment a little.

Great deal! Here is the US distributor, if you haven't already seen the site:

I was interested in purchasing and plating this bike in AZ, but the lady who I emailed back and forth with said they don't send MSO, just bill of sale. The price was good, though, $1100 or 1200

Well, I got biten my the little pitbike last weekend, trying to jump my driveway. Hyper-extended my right knee. Somehow during the landing and crash that followed the landing, my right foot ended up in the forks between the fender and tire. Tore some stuff, have to see an orthopedic surgeon. And for anyone that has never had thier knee bend the wrong way, it was quite painful. Cleared the driveway though. Won't be tuning in to Nitro Circus on MTV for a while either.

I have been there. Get ready for the bad news, but also go visit ThumperTalk. The doctor section over there has some good recovery tips. http://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=48

One of the good things on the TT forum. I had my ACL fixed on Dec 7th, 2006. I was riding again in January on a honda 50.
