Somebody broke the thermostat here

Man, I live in North Georgia and we are getting a "clipper" cold front that came down through Canada. It was 9 degrees this morning. I like Canada and all, but you guys can have this cold air back.

It was 12 here this morning. Being a midwesterner I am used to that being a high.

I woke up to -11F this morning with the added bonus of a wind chill but on the plus side the sky was crystal clear.
(probably because it was to cold to hold any moisture)

Temps like this are deadly.

Ahhh warmer temps in the 20's for this weekend and 5-8"s of fresh SNOW

They're saying this is an "Alberta clipper" I geuss because of the direction of the jet stream. If it's this cold here I'd hate to see it in Alberta. Supposed to be in the fifties for the high mid week next week.

It missed us for a change, the temp never got below zero this week. The snow and ice are beginning to melt, may even hit 50 above tomorrow. Riding weather

70 degrees today. Sunny and clear. Same tomorrow. This is very unusual for northern california. This time of year is usually wet and foggy (or rain) with highs in the 40's. If it weren't for you all I might start changing my mind about global warming.
