Finally got my order placed today...

After a bunch of researching and comparison shopping, i've ordered my 2006 t-motorsports lifan gy200 in red.

I already plan on getting the removable storage trunk, and custom welding up a new exhaust. Once i get it here and assembled, i will start working on the exhaust. I will let you all know what i find out. (i do know that i dont really need to increase the pipe size much, but maybe another 10-20 mm in pipe diameter would really open the flow up, not to mention make the bike look and sound better)

Also, maybe the demand has increased or that spring is coming, but i've noticed over the past 2 weeks that the prices on these bikes has gone up about 150 bux on average. Hooper imports went up over 250 dollars, and t-motorsports went up about 150 bux. A few other ebay stores have increased prices by over 100 bux also. So if you are looking at them and havent picked one up, i'd reccommend picking one up asap.

yea, i looked at yours and thats what gave me the idea of what i could try to do. Does the sound increase at all with that pipe? Have you gotten a chance to seat of the pants test it yet? i would be curious to know about gains, if any with a new pipe. I really want to change the pipe for 2 reasons: sound and looks.. i didnt get a 200cc enduro to be focused on hauling butt fast.. i want to have something to bomb around on.

I have been scouting ebay, looking for some used pipes that may fit. Do you happen to have a pipe diameter of that exhaust? so i can see what i will have to look for? I mean i can wait till i have the bike in front of me, but i like to get the ideas flowing while i can
