Shineray 200XY IV / Roketa DB-27A Exhaust Mod

I bought a pair of Shineray 200cc dirt bikes a couple of weeks ago and couldn't believe how quiet they are. I pulled out the exhaust tip/spark arrestor and found what was essentially a PLUG with holes drilled in it.

Had to fix this so I went on ebay and found a vendor that would work with me in trying to find a bolt on spark arrestor tip that would fit. The tip that we found bolted right on like it was make for the bike. It's actually made for a Yamaha TTR-125. Check it out on the bike.

The bike now sounds much better, but not loud and it is a screen type spark arrestor. I know I am going to have to rejet, but I am in the process of modifying the airbox and changing out the stock air filter set up out for a "real air filter". Here is the ebay link for this tip.

Very nice. Can you resize the pics and make them alittle smaller?

wish mine had that kind of exhaust on it when I bought it.

of the subject, but if you ever need to replace that rubber mud guard, treadmill track works really well.
