N. Aermican XR150L

Announced for Canada at the moment, but they suspect it will be announced for the U.S. too.

I'm not 100% sure on how well it will do here, especially considering for the price there are some really good Chinabikes, like the Lifan KPX250, which has 7 more hp and 100 more cc's. You never know though, some people will drop the money on the Honda.

Also interesting that they chose a 17 rear and 19 front combo like the TBR7, Xpect, and older Brozz. That might open up some tire options for those bikes.

at their price point, I think I would opt for the KPX with the 6 speed. In the end, there's also no replacement for displacement. Honda loses.

it gets better. Take the time to zoom in on their pictures and you get hardcore "Lifan Xpect with a Honda badge" vibes from it.

it looks more like a Hawk than a KPX. The swingarm looks better than most chinese bikes. Likely built to better quality than a Hawk. But again, the KPX is already that. I'm probably biased.

Compare it to an xpect instead of a kpx. Stats wise and even how it's constructed. Cost wise, it's the same as a kpx.

Other than the front disc brake the xr150l makes my Xl185 look even better....

I think Honda is feeling the rub from the china dual sport bike segment to even try and compete at around the $3000 price bracket.

Japan has lost its mojo and economy...the Euro bikes will have to compromise at some point too...

I wonder why all the sudden many mfg are selling their small cc motorcycles in countries that are known for liking bigger cc engins.

The XR150L is a classic in Latam a replacement for the XR125 which was the upgrade of the Honda Bross which was a cheap replacement of the NX 150

I wonder why the XR150L and not the XR250, which is quite better than the XR150L Dohc engine and "25hp at the wheel"

To be fair with Honda, the xr150l performance is quite close to most hawesque cg250 clones.

Of course the mandatory upgraded cylinder kit to 190 and 230 is also available.

They should forget about China.
Everyone is looking at China, but the true rise is going to be the one from India.

I have seen some of their latest motorcycle and i'm quite amazed at what they sell for the price.

The Hero Xpulse 200 puts in shame most of the on/off from 150 to 250 from the japanese and chinese mfg..
It's loaded of tech like abs, gps, delphi fi and the engine performance is quite good too.

Because the engines among others parts are made by Lifan and then assembled in few countries. For Latam they are being assembled in argentina.

The XR190l has even more vibes of the lifan Xpect.

The Hero Xpulse 200-4V is actually an interesting proposition.
The fact that it has ABS might actually make to Australian roads.

Royal Enfield are on my wish list, considering you can get a Himalayan cheaper than a Honda CT125 but with these bikes all over $8000 AUD, my wallet says no.

Heromotorcorp does not appear to offer anything globally, only listing domestic distributors.

Yes we have China bikes here. But no roadworthy Dual sports under 300cc or less than $4000 new...

Which pretty much forces the price bracket into the used market...

I wasn't even talking about the engine. The frame design, the rear passenger peg brackets on the frame, the welds, the direct to swingarm rear shock that bolts to the rectangular tube steel swing arm...

It's designed and constructed exactly like a *insert Hawk-like bike name here*

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this bike was just legitimately a Lifan Xpect built to Honda standards.
