Front break problems 2020 hawk

Got bike out from sitting over winter the front break is stuck there’s play in the break handle, we pulled the part out from master cylinder and it freed up the front wheel and tried to spray lube in it but as soon as you hit the break it’s stuck again,

Try removing the master cap then press the caliper piston all the way in. Then pump the leaver back up and see if it releases by itself.

By "remove the part" from the master cylinder, I assume you mean the banjo bolt that secures the brake line to the master cylinder? It releases the caliper because you are releasing the pressure. Sounds like the master cylinder might need to be taken apart and cleaned/inspected. Try Ol.farts suggestion first and let us know how that goes.
