Lifan XPect tail light replacement?

Hello, I have an Xpect and I was wondering if anyone has replaced the rear tail light bulb?

I seems you have to take apart the rear half of the bike to get inside the rear light lol

Or is there an easier way?

Not sure about the xpect, but the rest of the Chonda enduros you can simply remove the lens via 2 JIS (look like phillips) screws and remove the bulb that way.

I haven’t taken my rear lens out yet since it has LED’s, but from what I’ve seen so far, it does appear that you may need to pull the seat and remove the silver side pieces in the tail section to get at it. I could be wrong (and hopefully I am in this case).

If I can get some time at home, I’ll try to look at this, but if you find the answer first, please update us. Thanks.

What year is your Xpect? I wanted to double check before I spoke up earlier, but the taillight on the 2021 contains multiple surface mount style LED’s rather than plug-in or twist-in bulbs. However, if you look underneath the tail section, there is a stud with a nut on it that looks like it may be the attachment for the taillight. Hope this helps.
