Blue Hawk on the way.
Well my 92 year old grandfather lives next to me and admired my Brozz so much that he decided to order a Hawk for my father's birthday gift. Of course he plans to try it out!
I will post pics and updates as things progress.

Here are some pics, so far the only birthmark was a crack in the plastic shown below. I am impressed and have finally seen the legendary hawk with my own eyes.

Nice! I haven't seen too many blue ones. Lots of black, a fair number of red and green but blue seems to be a bit more rare. Mine came yesterday and only thing I've seen is a mark on the left side case which seems quite common.

Finished the Hawk.
Just have to adjust the valves, change the oil, put air in the tires, then calling it good to start breaking in. New carb and jet kit will be ordered in the next couple of days. Before it was finished:

I rode the new Hawk today and my my it was a different animal from the Brozz. They are geared differently with different size tires and the Hawk has knobbies, the Brozz has 50/50 tires. What a fun little difference. I am a Hawk'n Brozz Lover.
Hawk Birthmarks: Ripped Seat: Cracked Body Panel: Busted Tailcover: Hopefully Manny is good to us. Has been so far.

If you put a 17 tooth front and a 48 rear sprocket on the Hawks and they are more closely geared to how a Brozz comes stock. With the 15/50 they are geared much more for the off road world, but sacrifice top speed to do it, which is why so many Hawks get at least a 17 front sprocket. As an upgrade.
Hopefully they come through with the replacement parts. That has always seemed to be a hit and miss affair.

Aside from minor cosmetics the Hawk is an absolute beauty. I feel lucky to be able to play with these new bikes and tune them in.

I think the Hawk.gets an unfair bad reputation because so many people say other bikes are "better" for one reason or another. While it isn't perfect, it is much better than people seem the think. I love my Hawk, and I have never regretted buying one.

I like my Brozz, but would have bought a Hawk or TR7 instead if I knew for sure I could have registered it. The seat, and counterbalanced motor ,and slightly better carb tuning out of the box are not worth $450 to me. I don't hear many complaints about the Hawk other than the factory chain, and rear sprocket studs, and I hear this complaint about the Brozz as well.
