At the gas station today. . .

Well, I pulled in to the pump and topped off the tank. this time i went 97 kilometers on .94 gallons of gas (I have a lead wrist). Two different people walked up to me and asked about the bike. Neither one could believe I paid 1600 for it, one actually said "used?". I told him no, NEW. I gave them the web site URL "chinariders.net" and they were both very interested.

I really think these bikes appeal to the folks who want something small and easy to handle, but not a scooter.

Right now I am trying to find a way to borrow enough money to buy another one of these bad boys so I can sell the damn thing and make a couple hundred bucks.

I wish to God I'd have bought two of these things when I had my student loan, but who knew I'd be approached over and over again. I would sell this one except I have shed blood on it and its my baby.

Re: At the gas station today. . .

I hear that, I get people coming up to me all the time too, when I tell them I paid 1,300 new shipped to my door they all think im making it up!! Most of the time they still think im fibbing so I just smile and drive away, they go out a few weeks later and dump 5-6 grand on a honda The last guy did I met up with him a few days later and saw his new bike. He spent 5 grand, I pointed out that he was missing the inverted shocks, the rear disk brakes exc He became very upset and confronted me about lieing about how much I paid. I told him to chill out its not my fault that he dident look into them before he dumped 5 grand. To add injury to insult after he told me they threw in the helmet for only 150 bucks I told him I got mine for $30 bucks new, sent. He told me I was F'in crazy and drove off. He won't talk to me anymore

This is probably one of the best parts about being a china rider!!

I think the Japanese cycle industry had better make some pricing structure changes before the country goes Chinese or something.

Looks like word IS getting out about these bikes...

Ya it's no different than Honda cars. Their name has gotten better than their cars. Now you see alot more Kia's and Hyandia's because of price and warranty. Now they're looking better and price is going up. Just like Honda did. "Chinabikes" will probably do the same.

64mpg. Not to bad. I get about the same usually.

I haven't had many people ask about my bike. Most have no idea how much a bike costs and have never road one.
