Moto Camping

How many of you guys go camping on your motorcycle. Today I went out to setup and look over my gear. Can't wait until I start camping again. I can finally do it since my last day of school was yesterday!

Never went camping off the China bike but have camped for months on other bikes from a Vespa to a Goldwing. I love touring, especially on a small bike.

Go west!

I would love to visit out west! I always hear how pretty it is. I am planning on doing the Trans America Trail next summer. I'm excited for that trip.

I did it twice with my last Hawk. Two back roads road trips to State parks with ORV/OHV trails and camp grounds. It was quite fun. I went very minimal and only stayed for 1 night, so I didn't pack a ton of stuff. I would like to do so again and make a long weekend of it.

Out in these parts, that statement means something completely different when going camping

No way I could do that out here unless I wanted to be some hungry animals next meal , mountain lions, cougars, several species of bear, fox, wolves, even a few crazy "hybrid" animals no one has really seen (a white/silver "fox" the size of a giant wolf... that is jacked up on steroids)

Would have a blast doing those kinds of things, if I lived in the area for it so I will stick to those all day rides and be home when the sun goes down more chances someone will notice when I get dragged off into the bushes by a hungry animal

I've only day tripped on the dirt bikes but Mrs. 2LZ and I used to bike camp semi-regularly on the big bikes. The Lassen area used to be one of our favorite areas to make a base camp and do day rides out of there.
