Chain TBR7 Tao Tao 250

Greetings all, new to the forum and to the hobby.

Just purchased and had delivered a new 2019 TBR7 250 and just finished assembling ( this is my first bike ) - I am in Long Island New York.

Have not turned it over or taken it for the first ride as I am quality checking EVERY INCH.

CHAIN ISSUE
The chain is baffling me a bit, there is a rubber chain guard or chain runner that my chain is literally lying on - is that normal ( attached 2 pics )?.

That rubber guard was out of whack, so I loosened rear axle nut and alignment tensioner screws and kicked the tire - could barely get the tire to move on the right side ( where rear brake is ) - the left side moved no problem.

Was able to get a little play on the chain though its a little frustrating that there were no notches to help you align properly.

Anyway primary concern is the chain is in full contact with that rubber guard, see pics below.

Not sure what to do?

Yes, that is your chain guide. It should line up the chain for the front sprocket. I think there are several posts on it. I think Motocheez has a YouTube video on it also.

Enjoy the Ride!

As Kirbo mentioned--watch Motocheez's videos on the TBR7; he had dozens of videos on the Hawk over the past few years, and recently started a series of videos on the TBR7. Not to mention, this member just joined us--his introduction thread is right next to yours and he just bought a TBR7...you guys can compare notes. http://chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=23515
