Just pulled the trigger on the Apollo 250 Deluxe!

After debating and debating, I finally pulled the trigger on the Apollo 250 Deluxe.

I was on the fence because the Hawk is $300 less expensive. But, to me...the Apollo seemed worth the $300 price bump. I guess we will see. I'm psyched. I ordered from Texas PowerSports and they say shipped to your house in 7-10 days.

Am I the first on the forum to buy an Apollo Deluxe?

I am going to really take my time and make sure everything is loctited. I think I could have done better with my initial set up of the Enforcer last time.

I selected Red as my first color choice and Black as my second. Weird not knowing for sure what you'll get.

Congrats I don't think you will be disappointed. Apollo has a good reputation for quality with the dirt bike version and is worth the $300 more. It has a better swingarm, better adjustable forks and adjustable rear shock than the Hawk. Nothing wrong with my Hawk but if that bike would of been available back then I probably would have one.

Can't wait to hear the review! Really like this bike.
I do wish it was more than CARB green stickered. One can only hope!

Please let us know what you think of it, and take lots of pictures! Especially of the front wheel. It is top on my list right now. Really wish it came with atleast a 19 inch front wheel.

I have also been wanting to see what the Hawk DLX is like and the lifan option when it comes to market.

Am i crazy for wanting the Orion FX1 as well?

Congrats man! I am more than likely getting one also when I am able. The dirt version has amazing reviews. Remember we like pics here! If you don't provide them it never happened! Keep us updated and enjoy it, great bike!

I agree about the 17" wheel. Do other people think it was an odd choice? I looked online for 17" tires in the quoted sizes (130/70/17 and 110/70/17) and the options are few and far between. Most of the choices are road tires; not finding an dual sports or off road tires in that size.

We don't know the rim size yet, but any thoughts on a dirt oriented tire that would likely fit?

I was really eyeing the Orion 250 from Orion Powersports. The guy sold me on all the upgrades to the bike. But, I couldn't swallow the $1900 price tag without the possibility of taking it for a ride in town.

They do actually make a version of the Deluxe with the 21/18 wheels, called the RX250 Xtreme T (trail I assume) outside of the US. For whatever reason, nobody decided to import it here up to this point.

In any case, congrats on the new bike and welcome back to this silly world lol.

You can easily get the 21" front and 18" rear tires from Orion, just wish it came from the factory with them.

I know. I did the same thing. Especially when I realized it didn't come with the tire. If a different option can be found I would be happy to see it.
