Hawk battery
I need a new battery bad, stock finally went out. I don’t know anything about batteries and I have a couple laying around. Does anyone know if an everstart ES4LBS will work with the hawk. What amperage and bolts are required for battery on the hawk?

For typical CG250: http://mxjidian.com/index.php?s=/Product/pinfo/ptid/176
Will it run w/ such small size? Do the experiment urself while waiting for proven model http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=20893

I use a battery tender. Expensive, Yes! Worth the money, Yes! I bought it mainly because it has a trickle charger. Which is great if you winterize your bike or not ride for a long time. Plus it is a Lithium battery which has a longer life and saves tons of weight.

I bought the smaller size and wedged it in with a piece of foam. It starts fine and no probs at all. I got 2 years out of the stock battery. All this and I lost a cap off 1 cell for who knows how long. I did not have the cash for the Li battery although I do believe it is way better for the reasons AR mentioned.
Sealed battery is better. |
