I broke the Lifan

I had it floored and held down the clutch while riding high speeds. Valve float? Well , for sure I broke something so I got to get it to the dealer. That 2 year warranty should come in handy now.

If ANYONE can identify that metal sleeve that came out of the valve cover.

If it's still ticking, did you check the lash on the exhaust valve? I know you were unable to pull the valve cover. Dropping some motor mounts should cure that.

I'd definitely not mention to the dealer about screaming down the road and pulling the clutch in WFO. That could get him around the warranty.

Hopefully it's just the other valve adjustment.

Your videos pop up in my feed on youtube, including the one above, but haven't had time to watch it. I think the dealer will figure it out, and it should be under warranty, is my guess.

Yep that's the name. I'm pretty sure that's what it is.

He pulled it out on the end of a strong magnet. Odds are, he sucked it right out of a bolt hole, would be my guess.
