$400 Hawk good deal

I have been going to buy a hawk for some time now. Well yesterday I come across one on our local classifieds. It isn't registerable till 2020 per DMV in utah. It was never titled so it will just be a off road bike. I have the common mod parts on order.

The good:
It was only $400.
It only has 1800 miles
It runs OK

The bad and I need help finding these parts.
1. The plastic on the right side of the tank is broke
2. Handle bars aren't straight
3. Right hand break lever it broke on the outside where the knob should be.
4. Some switch thing that turns on the back break light is broke. See below image

What you think, a good deal?

Just take the plastic shrouds off of the tank.

I think somebody here used that for the rear brake switch. The bars are 7/8" you just have to find some you like or bend the stock bars back.

Change the brake switch out with a hydraulic over electric switch. About $10.....

Pro-Taper Bars are nice and tough, fairly inexpensive when you factor in the abuse they can take

Hell of a deal for $400, since the motor runs, and, I hope, you rode it enough to make sure the transmission and clutch are ok....ARH

I don't know where you live, but you can register it in either Vermont, or North Dakota by mail, assuming it came with the necessary paperwork...ARH

I got my VT plate on my hawk in CT. Just $115 and all done through the mail. Then just transfer in Utah.

Utah is a lot closer to North Dakota, who also do this kind of registration...ARH

Think it was South Dakota that people did the mail in registration and title work. I only know of one other Hawk owner in ND and I think he lives in the Grand Forks area and I don't know if he registered his bike.

I'm sure other MSO's looked different. Now I'm having flashbacks to the hot biker gal/clerk. It might be possible to do the mail in title and registration in North Dakota...

eBay. Keep your searches generic, like "dirt bike clutch lever" and then filter by lowest price. Compare the pics to what you have.
