Just bought 2007 250 4stroke xmotos dirt bike

Looking for a way to remove the rev limiter and also looking for a engine service/repair manual. Can anyone help?

why do you want to remove the Rev limiter. That will keep your engine from going sky high

It does not rev high enough. I want it to rev higher in the lower gears.

first does it have a throttle limiter. I know some of the roketa have them and we find that they are not all the way out some times. Well good luck wish I could tell you how to it out.

The 'rev limiter' is normally a function of the CDI. The only way around it is to replace the CDI with one that doesn't have a limiter.

You guys need to remember that you don't all have The Same brands, years, makes or models. Every importer makes and designs their Bikes and ATVs to their specs... one company may use a CDI box with a Rev-Limiter and another company may not. The vehicle may look exactly the same in a picture but in actuality they are not. Too many people today look at a picture on the Internet and think it's the word! Not true! I sell as a B&M Dealer two brands of ATVs now. They are made completely different, frame tubing & thickness, structure, engines, body etc. I have two that look alike and are made by different companies and believe me they are completely different quads! The same goes with the D/S bikes, scooters and motorcycles.
