hand guards

does anyone have a link to a set of handgaurds that fits the hawk well?

Yikes $ 53. Isn't there any made in china ones for 20 bucks?

I saw these handguards mentioned in the same thread pcspecialist referenced.

Saw these for a little less but with plastic mounts

Not sure how well those would hold up?

Yeah, don't waste your money on the send ones.....I got a set in carbon for dirt cheap and the mounting brackets require you to arrange the controls all fucky. Big thumbs down.

They cost more because of the excellent design... if you look they have that weird bend in the metal bar... this bend is to help prevent you from breaking/bending your arm/wrist/hands in funny directions when you flip over the handlebars... trust me when I say, that little extra money spent on that bend is well worth it when your arm is straight after a crash

I don't want to post a pic of what the damage looks like... but just imagine your arm/wrist/hand making a U or a S... not a good sight...
