All you guys with new Hawks

Hey guys, I've had my hawk for about a year now and just wanted all you new guys to know that you will need some BLACK HIGH TEMP RUST PROOF paint. Before you assemble your entire bike you will want to paint your exhaust because it will rust. I learned the hard way and I will be having to sand off the rust and painting it. So you guys with new bikes can save yourselves from having to sand your exhaust if you will paint it while its new. Just so y'all know. Cheers.

That should work. I believe that's a high temp paint. Most of those BBQ paints are rated up to 1200 degrees. That's what i painted mine with. my exhaust looks much better. Took it for a ride about two hours after painting it and it didn't chip or bubble.
