Another China noob from Florida, rockin'the Hawk

Hey everybody.

Been lurking out loud on the forums for a couple of weeks, thought it might be time for a bit of introduction. My buddy started talking about getting a motorcycle about a month and a half ago. The thought of riding a two wheel vehicle around for transportation hadn't ever occurred to me. I wore my first car slap out and had to park it, the work truck that my boss let me borrow was too expensive to feed, and my wife is getting tired of being dropped off at work an hour early and picked up an hour late (I work 10 hour shifts). A chines bike seems like a great affordable solution to my transportation woes.

Sooooo, we picked up a couple RPS Hawk 250's from http://www.apscusa.com for $2400 shipped to my job. Forklift with extension forks highly recomended. Got them assembled, just need the registration docs, and my endorsement and I'll get to let my wife have her car back.

Lookin forward to Sharing my experience with everyone.

Welcome. Thanks for formally introducing yourself. The Hawks are nice bikes.

Welcome!

I'm curious about your screen name. At first glance it looks like Seven Mary Three, but I know that's not it. 73? Hmm... Care to share?

seven day theory (of creationism)

It's a subtle way of expressing my religious views.

Weldandgrind, are you a fabricator by chance? Both hnu13 and myself are ornamental metal fabricators.

Man, I should have guessed that!

I'm not a professional fabricator, just a goofball with a welder and some fab equipment. HF is partly responsible for that.

Welcome, I'm also from Florida and fairly new in this forum. I purchased a couple of the Blade bikes also from www.apscusa.com last week. I should be receiving them in a few days.
