90 miles today.

Today was my longest ride yet on the bike. I did a total of 90 miles in stop and go traffic to pick up an ebay item. Bike never failed me.

Not too good. The extra pad doesn't help much.

Mine hasn't been too bad...but after around 50 or 60 miles...you start to get a little numb down there...

Anyone have any fixes? Possible cheap addons? McGiver solutions?

I'll think of something...butt (NPI) i thought i'd ask you guys first?

Well I ride 30 miles highway to work every day (weather permitting). Each month I ride 75 miles one way to drill for 2 days, sometimes 3 or 4. My best suggestion? Sit on plywood when you drive your car. Not trying to be a jerk here, but I really don't see much that can be done. These bikes are rough, really rough on the highway. I don't particularly enjoy long rides either...unless I'm doing it for fun and don't have to be anywhere, then it's great. Otherwise, it's all part of being a rider. Goldwings and softails are the ones for long trips. I deal witht he discomfort, but I don't like it much either. The seat position is all wrong, the dip in the seat is in the wrong place, the rear shock is stiff and the pegs are too far back. Even so, I'm happy with what I bought......Hey, what about those gel packs? Pull the seat cover off, stuff a few in there and re-attatch? Just a random idea.

the easy solution is stand up and take a break... (you can keep going). I went a few hundred km's on the highway without stopping, no problems at all.

From the pics I see, The seats are simply not wide enough. I might be wrong but just a little added width could really change things.

Spread the load a little

It would have been worse if I didn't have the seat cover on there. It adds a bit of width too.

I am fine on the my normal commute everyday.
