Passenger pegs

Any reason to keep them on a 200?

Why not? Don't they fold up? "Just In Case" is a good thing. . . LOL!

Yeah, there aren't many stranded hot bitches on the side of the road in Missouri. Lol

I quickly ditch the passenger foot pegs on all my dual sport motorcycles. Those pegs are are very heavy, and I never carry a passenger.

I keep them, in case somebody's bike breaks down on a dual sport ride.

I always prefer passenger pegs. I like carrying passengers although I try to limit myself to the compact female variant. I would HATE to have the opportunity to take a gal for a ride and not be able to.

Of course the Gold Wing is the weapon of choice but I've ridden Linda around on my KLX many times. I've even taken her on the YZ400F. She had to use the riders pegs and I put my feet on hers. Not a highly recommended practice.

A good way to meet people is follow a Harley crowd around while they are in their pirate costumes. When the bikes break down you can give the girl a ride home.

Kato can follow behind in Big Gulp and collect scrap metal as it falls off the hogs.

I usually ride alone out into the boondocks. Even if other riders are with me, I doubt they would want to ride double for very long over rough terrain. In addition, the Zong's passenger pegs were like horse shoes! Those things must have weighed 3 pounds. My CRF250X is a dirt bike, so it doesn't have passenger foot pegs. The passenger pegs on my Honda XR650L weighed 1.5 pounds! For all those reasons, I always ditch the passenger foot pegs. If I had a street bike, and beautiful babes were desperately attempting to mount my bike at every intersection, I would certainly keep the passenger pegs.

I leave em on... Occasionally ride 2up, but mostly use em for the incredibly easy wheelies that can be produced with your weight that far back... Just stand on em and rip the throttle...LOL
